We kicked off 2026 with our first influencer event of the year at Haywire, and it was one for the books. High West brought their seasonal Aprés Haywire pop-up to Haywire, and truly… a time was had. Inspired by classic aprés-ski traditions but finished with a Texas twist, this pop-up proves that everything really is better Texas-style.
We were invited to dress in our best aprés attire, which was especially fun considering it was a very Texas winter being 70 degrees outside. Cozy vibes, winter fashion, sunshine. The best of both worlds.
When we arrived at Haywire, we headed straight up to the rooftop, which is absolutely stunning. The space was decked out with thoughtful details to match the ski theme and they had fun set-ups and vendors such as a hat bar, branding iron satation with complimentary leather luggage tags for the first 50 guests, cozy tents for lounging, live DJ, Photo-Ops, Games, and complimentary High West whiskey paired with ski shots. It was actually my first ski shot ever, and it did not disappoint. Along with the drinks, they rolled out their seasonal menu, and we got to order a little bit of everything.
We went all in on what I’m calling the ultimate winter girl dinner. Multiple rounds of espresso martinis, the Chef’s “Favorite 4” featuring queso blanco, Branding Iron onion rings, mini elk tacos, and fried green tomatoes, plus a s’mores board and of course a side of tallow fries. Every single bite was packed with flavor and comfort. It was cozy, indulgent, and exactly what you want on a chilly night, even if it doesn’t actually feel like winter outside.
Aprés Haywire is the perfect place to slow down, warm up, and indulge in comfort food and cocktails designed for cold nights and good company. The pop-up is located on the rooftop of Haywire at Legacy West in Plano, TX, and will be open through February 8.
